I'm not really an outdoorsy kinda person. And by not really, I mean not at all.
I don't mind it too much if I'm on a beautiful tropical beach, and am being served beer. (Ok, I actually love it a little if that's the scenario!) Or if it's a summertime backyard BBQ, and am drinking beer. Or if it's around a fire pit and I'm drinking beer. Or it it's a summertime picnicking in the park and I'm drinking beer. Hmmm. There seems to be a pattern here? Sun and beer are crucial!
Anyway, I am most certainly NOT and outdoorsy person when it's raining and muddy and cold outside. But how do you say no to this little person when she show up beside you with one gumboot on (the wrong foot!) asking to "Go side! Pease mommy!?"

So I put on my happy face, and warmest jacket I could find, and out we went.
Of course there was a falling in a mud puddle incident. And a couple tears. Mostly from me becasue I'd spend the morning vacuuming and washing the floors, and knew I was going to have to bring this soggy, muddy little person back into the house to clean her up when we were done!
But she had a blast, and that's all that matters

Apparently Canadian retailers have decided to celebrate the new Family Day long weekend by providing killer online sales! 40% off kids stuff at Old Navy! (You all know how I LOVE Old Navy's kids stuff!) BO-GO 50% off at Reitmans. (My favorite store for me!) And then all kinds of bra and panty deals at La Senza. (My other favorite store for me!)
Would it make me a bad person if I admitted that I have my virtual cart full at all 3 places, while I try to talk myself down off the shopping ledge? Oh online shopping, why do you tempt me so!?
I better get off this silly thing before I can't resist anymore, and hit that submit button on all 3 orders!
