Yesterday I made and decorated a super cute giant cupcake for her to smash today. I'm really excited that it doesn't totally suck. I was going to blog about it last night, but my wonderful husband forgot our camera at our friend's house, so I had no pictures to show you how awesome I am.
He told me I could just blog about what an ass he was for forgetting the camera instead. And I was about to do just that last night, when poor little Growly Bear freaked out from her crib (where she had been sleeping soundly), and ended up repeatedly projectile vomiting all over her poor daddy.
For those of you who know my hubby, you know that he's more then a little squeamish about bodily functions, especially when they land on him. But I have to say, he handled it like a champ. And I honestly think I've never loved him more then I did last night as he was covered in peach and kiwi chunks and the remnants of a fairly large bedtime bottle, holding our poor little scared girl close to his chest as her whispered soothing, comforting words to her. Talk about heart melt!
After getting her (and my hubby too!) cleaned up, I was too worried about her to put her back in her crib, so she slept between us instead. Sideways. My hubby had a head in his armpit, and I had toes in my neck for most of the night. How does the smallest person take up the most room?
Luckily she woke up her happy little talkative self this morning, and seems to be in a rock star kidna mood, so I think our photo shoot is going to be wicked good this afternoon.
Thought I'd leave you with a little funny for you to enjoy. #1 was us last night...
Love and Hugs!
